Pico series satellites, the smaller members of the satellite family, are currently under development for research purposes. These satellites are designed for the development and testing of microelements in space, and are expected to significantly influence future space activities.
In addition to CubeSats, cost-effective satellites are set to revolutionize the future of the space industry. PocketCube satellites, a new variant of CubeSat, measure just 5 x 5 x 5 centimeters and are currently used for research missions. As technology advances, the use of this type of satellite is expected to become more widespread and contribute significantly to space missions.
At CAVU, our young team is working on the Pocket Project, exploring the potential to provide services to educational and research institutions. These satellites, with their advanced technology, are ideal for both space professionals and enthusiasts looking to embark on their space journey.

PhoneSat is a type of satellite that has garnered global attention since NASA initiated its development in 2009. Prior to this, similar activities had been undertaken in countries like Russia and China. The initial versions of this satellite, which were launched and tested without a solar panel, utilized processing boards, cameras, and smartphone batteries.

In newer generations of PhoneSat, complete mobile hardware is employed without any hardware manipulation. This is made possible through special software subscriptions and hardware for telecommunication links and solar cell charging. Given the widespread proliferation of smartphones and their increasing processing power, memory capacity, high-quality cameras, and flexible telecommunication systems, mobile phones are being leveraged in satellite construction. This approach is cost-effective and can be used in short-term research missions for integrating certain parts in space.
The primary objective of our subsidiary is to provide a common platform system using a smart mobile phone for technology-proof missions. This innovative idea will significantly reduce costs, and CAVU is committed to preparing, building, and supplying this platform for our clients.
