CAVU AEROSPACE UK Code of Conduct on Human Rights, Labour and Anti-Bribery
1. Purpose
This Code of Conduct sets out the principles and standards that [Company Name] (“the Company”) expects from all employees, directors, contractors, suppliers and business partners. The Company is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically, and in full compliance with applicable UK laws and international standards.
2. Human Rights
We respect and support the fundamental human rights of all individuals as set out in the European Convention on Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and applicable UK law.
We will not engage in, or knowingly benefit from, any form of human rights abuse.
We will conduct due diligence on our operations and supply chain to identify and address potential human rights risks.
We provide safe and accessible channels for individuals to raise concerns about human rights without fear of retaliation.
3. Labour Standards
No Forced or Child Labour: We prohibit the use of forced, bonded or child labour in any part of our business or supply chain, in line with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and ILO conventions.
Fair Employment Practices: All employees shall be treated fairly and equally, without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
Freedom of Association: Employees have the right to join or form trade unions and to engage in collective bargaining, consistent with UK law.
Health & Safety: We provide a safe and healthy working environment, following UK health and safety legislation and best practice.
Wages & Working Hours: Employees shall receive fair wages that meet or exceed legal minimum standards, and working hours shall comply with UK labour law.
4. Anti-Bribery & Corruption
We have zero tolerance for bribery and corruption in any form, in line with the UK Bribery Act 2010.
No employee, director, contractor, or agent shall:
Offer, give, solicit, or accept bribes, kickbacks, facilitation payments, or improper advantages.
Use Company funds or resources for unlawful or unethical purposes.
Business decisions must be made solely on objective criteria such as quality, performance, price, and suitability.
All employees must declare and seek approval for any gifts, hospitality, or entertainment above a reasonable and proportionate value.
We maintain accurate records of all financial transactions to ensure transparency and accountability.
5. Implementation & Compliance
All employees and business partners are expected to comply with this Code of Conduct.
Managers are responsible for promoting awareness and ensuring compliance within their teams.
Breaches of this Code may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract, and may be reported to relevant authorities.
Concerns or suspected violations should be reported immediately through the Company’s confidential reporting channels.
