Peripheral boards to improve interface capability & modular design, Case: OBC-Hyper-Polar

The OBC-HYPER-2 is a compact, high-performance onboard computer based on the Microchip PolarFire SoC FPGA. It integrates a multi-core RISC-V processor subsystem with a radiation-tolerant flash-based FPGA fabric in a single device, providing both general-purpose computing and reconfigurable logic resources. Key Specifications are listed below but what it makes it commercially attractive is competitiveness in lead time & price. We can make it also commercially attractive by putting base module on roll production to have fraction of the lead time & costs and then improve interface capability & bespoke deliverables satisfied with Add-on cards, peripheral boards, daughter boards. Peripheral boards will be attached to OBC in a single chassis & increase weight only by 300 gr but make it much more modular & commercially competitive.

OBC-Hyper-Polar WITH peripheral board- 930 gr
The Add-on Card extends the OBC-HYPER-2 interface set to satisfy the full TRD requirements. It uses four 9-pin Micro-D connectors on the rear panel and incorporates proven PHY components already used on previous CAVU products. We can adapt 4x 9-pin Micro-D for so many applications.
