DESCRIPTION
Line-scan hyperspectral VNIR
This configuration suits systematic orbital mapping with very fine spectral sampling.
KEY FEATURES
- Type: Pushbroom hyperspectral VNIR camera with a line-scan sensor and compact spectrometer
- Spectral region: approximately 470–900 nm, with more than one hundred narrow spectral bands
- Optics: ~100 mm focal length entrance telescope feeding a spectrometer with a 2048-pixel line
- Performance at 550 km: GSD around 30 m, swath around 60 km in nadir pushbroom operation
- Output: Continuous hyperspectral lines at high line rates for along-track mapping
APPLICATIONS
Water content and stress in vegetation, mineral and soil signatures, smoke and haze imaging, and other scenes where SWIR adds information beyond VNIR.
